The Geology Program at HCC offers a variety of geoscience and environmental science courses intended to allow all HCC students opportunity to understand more about Earth’s systems, processes, resources, and hazards.

The Associate of Science in Geology is intended primarily for students wishing to transfer to a 4-year college or university in pursuit of a B.A. or B.S. in the geosciences (geology, geophysics, oceanography, environmental geology, etc.). The degree plan provides the necessary core curriculum and pre-requisite courses that prepare students to be successful in upper-level courses in their respective degree programs.
