Automotive Technology - Maintenance & Light Repair, C1

The Maintenance & Light Repair Certificate prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles and to provide customer/consultation services. Instruction includes brake systems, electrical systems, engine performance, engine repair, suspension and steering, and heating and air condition systems. Students completing the award are prepared for immediate employment at the entry- and intermediate-levels as service consultants, service managers, and shop foremen. The Automotive Technology program is accredited by the (NATEF), which would include the new certificate. Licensure/Certification is not required for employment.
