Digital Communication - General, A.A.S.


Digital Communication prepares students to enter the workforce as generalists in the area of computerized graphic communication. The degree includes generalized training in digital photography, graphic design, multimedia, and web technologies. The program prepares students for employment in the fields of print-based media, electronic interactive multimedia, and web design and authoring.  

This award falls under HCC’s institutional Art + Design accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). NASAD is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the agency responsible for the accreditation of all art and design curricula. Art + Design at HCC includes the following programs: Digital Communication, Digital Gaming & Simulation for Artists, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Filmmaking, and Studio Art.
