Digital Communication - General, C1

The program prepares students for employment in the fields of print-based media, electronic interactive multimedia, and web design and authoring. Students may earn an AAS, Level I or Level II certificate in Digital Communication. This award is a specialization that can only be “stacked” with the A.A.S. Specializaiton with the same name.  Students can only earn one Certifiate Level 1.  Contact your advisor for more information.  There are General, Graphic Design, Digital Photography, Visual Effects & Motion Graphics, Web Publishing, and XR Design & Development speicalization Certificates that corresponds with the A.A.S. degree.

This award falls under HCC’s institutional Art + Design accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). NASAD is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the agency responsible for the accreditation of all art and design curricula. Art + Design at HCC includes the following programs: Digital Communication, Digital Gaming & Simulation for Artists, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Filmmaking, and Studio Art.
