Digital Communication - Graphic Design - Specialization, A.A.S.


The Digital Communication-Graphic Design Specialization program provides students training in communication concepts, design, layout, and typography using computer technology to prepare print-based materials such as newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and other documents.

Students may earn one Associate of Applied Science along with the Certificate specializations below by completing the requirements for the chosen degree specialization.  

This award falls under HCC’s institutional Art + Design accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). NASAD is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the agency responsible for the accreditation of all art and design curricula. Art + Design at HCC includes the following programs: Digital Communication, Digital Gaming & Simulation for Artists, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Filmmaking, and Studio Art.
