The Visual Merchandising certificate program develops the students? technical window and interior display skills and understanding of aesthetic principles and applications, preparing them for entry-level positions as visual merchandisers in retail stores.

This award falls under HCC’s institutional Art + Design accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). NASAD is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the agency responsible for the accreditation of all art and design curricula. Art + Design at HCC includes the following programs: Digital Communication, Digital Gaming & Simulation for Artists, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Filmmaking, and Studio Art.
