Filmmaking - Film/video Production - Specialization, C1


Students prepare for a career in film production by acquiring hundreds of production hours. Courses include cinematography, general production and lighting. All courses in this certificate apply towards the AAS in Filmmaking.

This award falls under HCC’s institutional Art + Design accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). NASAD is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the agency responsible for the accreditation of all art and design curricula. Art + Design at HCC includes the following programs: Digital Communication, Digital Gaming & Simulation for Artists, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Filmmaking, and Studio Art.
