The Artificial Intelligence & Robotics B.A.T. Degree educates people from all backgrounds in the “Best Practices” of Artificial Intelligence (AI).  A commitment to help all students and individuals begin or change careers to gain a firm foothold in artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is becoming ubiquitous in all industries; at the same time, AI is evident in cybersecurity, business supply chain, sales and marketing, industrial modernization, and smart manufacturing, while other growing industries are becoming AI-ready. Because the field of AI is broad and deep, students will learn the essentials of evidence-based fundamentals of becoming Artificial Intelligence Support Specialists. As a result, Houston Community College graduates will qualify for entry-level AI jobs in a variety of areas, including machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, business intelligence, customer support automation, recommendation systems, sales and product support information systems, internal automation projects, healthcare support automation, data analytics, IIOT/Robotics, cybersecurity and more.

The following pathway assumes completion of technical prerequisites embedded in the A.A.S. in Artificial Intelligence offered at HCC. Coursework from other associate degrees will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for transfer to the B.A.T.
