The Surgical Technology program is designed for individuals interested in caring for the surgical patient. Upon completion of the program, graduates may gain employment as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment during all types of surgical procedures. Portions of this program meet the needs of the registered nurse who is seeking employment in a surgically affiliated field.
