ITAI 2377 - Data Science in Artificial Intelligence (A I)

An advanced course on the progression from data to information from the 50’s up to the present with different types of databases, planning for data capture/curation, Machine Learning as a catalyst to a massively changing paradigm, dynamic data, highly distributed/federated information, and storage systems. The course will give students the intuition behind data integrity and how to establish viable checkpoints within the data system to troubleshoot performance and errors. Additionally, students will learn to take disparate data types and fit them into newer structures and take average data and create great information.
