MATH 0432 - Basic Math & Intro to Contemporary Math


Credits: 4

This course helps students with basic math concepts required to be successful in MATH 1332.  Math 0432 (P) Basic Mathematics and Introduction to Contemporary Math is a developmental math course whose topics include order of operations with integers, fractions and real numbers, percent, ratios, proportions, introduction to logic, polynomials, basic factoring, linear equations, the Rectangular Coordinate System, set operations, and math for financial management.  A comprehensive departmental final examination must be passed with a score of 60% or more in order to pass the course.
