Emphasis is on patient identification, infection control and specimen handling. Topics include professionalism, ethics, medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology relating to blood analysis. Designed for students seeking national certification in phlebotomy. This course is included in the Phlebotomy Technician certificate.
