MCHN 2034 - Operation of CNC Machining Centers

This course is designed to develop competency in CNC machining operations with an emphasis on milling machining centers. Students will learn how to set the tool and work-piece offsets for machining operations and edit the program as required, and also demonstrate how to write G-code programs for CNC lathes and milling machines. The curriculum combines classroom instruction and hands-on skills development in our state-of-the-art machine shop and CNC simulator lab. The training will give students the necessary skills to enter the industry workforce.
