The AAS in Network Systems and Unified Communication Specialization encompasses several communication systems or models including the handling of voice, fax, and regular text messages as objects in a single mailbox that a user can access either with a regular e-mail client or by telephone collaboration, and interaction systems; real-time and near real-time communications; and transactional applications.
