LVN Transition to Professional Nursing Practice, A.A.S.

HCC offers an optional route to the AAS Nursing Degree via the LVN-to-RN transition program. To apply for the program, students must have graduated from an accredited LVN program and meet all requirements for entry into the AAS Nursing program including criminal background checks. Students must demonstrate evidence of one of the following: six months recent (within one year) full-time clinical practice or one year recent (within one year) part-time clinical practice, and recently completed a nursing refresher course (within one year).
